At Tahiche - opened to the public in 1992, after his death - the house contains a collection of his paintings and sculptures.
The lower part of the house has been built into an ancient lava bed and the cave-like rooms are volcanic bubbles created by the eruptions of 1730-36.
Highly recommended for a visit.
